Our Director, Marianne Takas, has worked for
over 25 years in the child welfare area, as a lawyer,
social service worker, policy analyst,
and author. She has worked for the
American Bar Association on Children and the Law,
the National Foster Parent Association,
and for Voices for America's Children,
and is the author of six previously published books
on child welfare topics.
